Summer break is over and our weekly meetings are resuming! Hope to see you on Tuesday, August 18, when our theme will be "The Farmer's Market".

Tuesday's meeting, with the theme "Italy", was a lot of fun. Tina, who's recently returned from Italy, brought a large box of tasty treats from the Italian Centre. Delicious! Grazie, Tina!!
Our club's newly-elected President, John, also got into the spirit by donning a gladiator apron that was purchased in Italy. He was ready for battle!
Reminder that we're now on a break for a few weeks, and will return to our regular meetings on Tuesday, August 18th. See you then!!

Plan to attend our meeting this Tuesday, July 14th! Our Toastmaster of the Day, Jenny, has chosen the theme "ITALY". Given this theme, let's make this meeting BENISSIMO! Hope to see you there!!

After this meeting, our club will take a few weeks off, and will return to our regular Tuesday evening meetings on August 18th.

Well, it's that time of year when many people take summer vacation. Whether it's a trip to the mountains, or to a sunny beach, or to a remote cabin, or on a trip exploring far away places....vacations can mean different things to all of us. It should be a time to relax and reset, to enjoy the time away from the daily grind. Where would you like to spend your vacation? Need ideas? Come to our July 7th meeting and see what TNT Toastmasters is all about, as well as where we'd like to escape to!!

CANADA DAY!
Our Tuesday evening meeting falls on the eve of Canada Day....what better theme for the meeting than acknowledging the amazing country we live in. We expect a good turnout of members, hopefully sporting their red and white colours. And speaking of sports, how about the Canadian soccer team?? Winning today and advancing to the World Cup round of 16, first time ever!!
Go Canada!!

Also last week, new member Sumer was inducted into TNT Toastmasters, shown here with outgoing President Kewei. Sumer is already rocking his Toastmasters journey, having already done an icebreaker, acted as General Evaluator, and signed up as Toastmaster for our upcoming meeting!! Way to go, Sumer!!

This is what we saw after last week's meeting while we were driving John Fleming home....a beautiful, vibrant rainbow! It was decided that the end of this rainbow was right at John's house, yet he did not want to share the pot of gold with us!! Can you believe it?? 🍀
