Super meeting last week, when our Area Director Patrick joined us as our Guest Toastmaster! He chose the theme "Family Stories", which framed the meeting around insightful and sometimes funny stories that were shared. Thank you, Patrick, and come back any time!

This week Chris will lead the meeting, and Home Safety is the theme she's chosen. Let's get our homes ready for the winter season!

We had an interesting meeting last week, led by Tina, in which we discussed several of the questions on the upcoming referendum. The consensus was that the questions were ambiguous and very poorly written!

TNT is looking forward to our upcoming meeting on Tuesday, when our Toastmaster will be Area Director, Patrick Juma Owino. The theme he has chosen is "Family Stories". Please join us for what promises to be an excellent meeting.

Last week's meeting was interesting....the theme was "If I had a Million Dollars", and we learned that some of us buy lottery tickets, while others do not!
This week's meeting will be about Alberta's upcoming referendum where Tina will lead the meeting in a democratic, non-polarizing way. It should be interesting muddling through some of the ambiguous wording the province has developed!

Tuesday's meeting, with the theme "Italy", was a lot of fun. Tina, who's recently returned from Italy, brought a large box of tasty treats from the Italian Centre. Delicious! Grazie, Tina!!
Our club's newly-elected President, John, also got into the spirit by donning a gladiator apron that was purchased in Italy. He was ready for battle!
Reminder that we're now on a break for a few weeks, and will return to our regular meetings on Tuesday, August 18th. See you then!!
