Method BJJ Stay in touch with Method BJJ! Method BJJ is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu school in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, owned and operated by Andrew Gummer.

Andrew Gummer is a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under world champion Eduardo Telles (99 Jiu Jitsu). He is passionate about BJJ, teaching, learning and bio-mechanics. Andrew’s fun personality, his particular attention to detail, and his pursuit of excellence all serve to make him an exceptional instructor. Professor Andrew loves being on the mats and teaches all of the classes at Method. Andrew and fellow BJJ Black Belt Curt Malin, have developed a bully-proofing empowerment course and are currently spending time in Edmonton’s public schools. Students are being taught verbal skills to stop confrontations from escalating, as well as self-defense techniques to control bullies without resorting to violence. Andrew is also an accomplished actor, singer, songwriter and musician and
