As a Triffo School of Business startup-support and entrepreneurship learning initiative, MacEwan Ventures provides mentorship and networking opportunities for those seeking to turn their idea into a viable business.
Last week, emerging entrepreneurs from Mi Gente Canada Foundation pitched their business ideas to a panel of community judges for the chance to win funding to support their ventures. Congratulations to the winners:

Big ideas start somewhere — and at MacEwan Ventures, they start turning into real opportunities. As a Triffo School of Business initiative, MacEwan Ventures empowers aspiring and emerging entrepreneurs to transform bold ideas into thriving ventures.
Last week marked the exciting finale of the Pitch Showcase competition. With creativity, determination, and entrepreneurial spirit on full display, participants celebrated the incredible progress they've made on their journeys.

2nd place: Blueberry's Blossoms, Jackie Moreno Rojas
3rd place: Boru, Nadiya Boru
Not only were ideas showcased, but passion and innovation too. Every presenter brought with them an infectious, lively energy and palpable excitement for their vision.
Thank you to our incredible judges for selecting three winners from all the amazing pitches put forth: Vraj Shah (MacEwan Alumni), Haley Wolgien-Lowe (Communicator and Public Speaker Scientist), and Michelle Frechette (Founder and Director of Connected Kitchen Project).
