It was a true honor to be part of the celebration at the University of Alberta, standing among the top 80 individuals recognized this year across various fields. It was an absolute privilege to be in the company of such exceptional professionals, including the esteemed Professor Tiang Tang, at today’s event. I am deeply grateful for this recognition, particularly for receiving the ASTech Award 2023 for Digital Technology Innovation in Alberta (impacting digital transformation in Industries). The recognition is both humbling and inspiring, motivating me to continue driving innovation in Alberta's science and technology landscape.

This week, I had the pleasure of presenting our innovative work on "Eco-Friendly 3D Printing for Resilient Housing in Harsh Environments" at the PRINC Conference to a diverse audience, including representatives from the University of Alberta, Indigenous communities, and Northern communities. It was fascinating to explore how technologies can be adapted to different cultures and challenging climates, such as those in Canada.
