I’m going out on a branch… and holding another Broom Bar before Halloween! 🌿🧹✨

If you’ve been thinking, “I need a broom with a little personality,” this is your invitation. And if you haven’t… you might be about to. 😉

Come sip some homemade apple c***r and share some light snacks before the magic happens. We’ll create full-size botanical brooms with embellishments, a bit of leather and lace, and personalities that seem to appear as you make them.

Will yours be a wild little woodland soul? A fancy lady in lace? A mischievous friend who looks perfectly at home by your door?

There’s something lovely about watching a bundle of botanicals become a character you can’t help smiling at. And you get to take that magic home. 🤎

Last night’s Broom Bar was EPIC.

Hot apple c***r in our cups, fresh-baked cheese bread, music playing, and the kind of laughter that makes your cheeks hurt. And the CREATIONS?! You all brought the magic. 🔥

Came for the brooms. Stayed for the snacks, the laughs, and “wait, look what I made!” moments.

I’m gathering the foraged grasses, branches and botanicals, and getting ridiculously excited to see what everyone creates tonight.

We’re taking a pile of wild things and turning it into full-size brooms, each one with its own personality. I’ll guide you through it, so come ready to make something wonderfully you. Previous flying experience is optional. 😉

Because suddenly I can think of a VERY good reason you might need your own broom…

I’ve decided to EXTEND REGISTRATION for The Broom Bar: Sweep Into the Season on September 29. 🌿

Which means you still have time to make a broom that is completely, wonderfully, unmistakably yours — and have it ready for all your October adventures. 😉

And we’re not talking about decorating a little premade broom.

We’re actually making them.

I personally forage the grasses, twisted branches and natural materials that become the foundation of your broom. Then you’ll add dried tansy, lavender, seasonal botanicals and embellishments to create your own full-size botanical broom.

Every broom also gets a little gold bag filled with herbs and intention. ✨

And because no two branches grow exactly alike, no two brooms will either.

Ever have those days where you craft and really put your intention into it. Like you kinda drift away and come back to something so beautiful.
Somehow your mind knew that you needed to “escape” for that moment - a mental break.
And somehow, your past self knew you needed to laugh so hard that only the tiny squeak of a sound came out while tears are dripping from your eyes, your past self knew this when setting up the broom making date so long ago.

It started off quiet, somber, which was so unusual for us, but one of us was a wee bit hungover (not me!).

We started crafting and we made some beautiful girls, see our video from Monday.

Not sure what happened after that… but here are some clips.

No alcohol was consumed, although it may look like it.

It’s always like a craft and a show when you come see us! No promises that Savanna won’t make you do broom squats. 😂

This isn’t the kind of broom you hide in a closet. 🌿🧹

On September 29, I’m opening The Broom Bar: Sweep Into the Season at Hearth Cowork.

What makes these brooms especially magical? I personally forage and gather the grasses, driftwood and branches you’ll use—bringing a little piece of the wild into every creation.

You’ll design your own full-size botanical broom using these hand-gathered materials, dried tansy, lavender and seasonal embellishments. Every broom will also receive a small gold bag filled with herbs and intention—because a little practical magic never hurts.

No experience is needed. I’ll guide you through the entire process in a cozy, welcoming space filled with tea, laughter and absolutely no pressure to make your broom look like anyone else’s.
