⭐️FLUTE MASTERCLASS with Sarah Pollard⭐️ (Assistant Principal Flute of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra) will be leading a masterclass on Sunday, April 12. The event will take place at Grant MacEwan University in room 11-359 (inside Building 11; Allard Hall) starting at 1:30 PM.

For non-EFA members, admission to this event is $25 for adults // $15 for 17 years of age and under. Admission to this event for EFA members is free.

🎶 University of Alberta Honour Bands & Symphonic Wind Ensemble
🎉 60th Anniversary Concert Season

Join us for an inspiring afternoon celebrating young musicians from across Alberta. The annual University of Alberta High School Honour Bands concert brings together over 200 high school students for a powerful performance following an intensive two-day weekend of rehearsals and mentorship.

The program also features the University of Alberta Symphonic Wind Ensemble, led by Dr. Angela Schroeder, with Guest Conductor Dr. Gordon Brock (Professor Emeritus, University of North Florida). Highlights include performances by 2025–2026 Concerto Competition winner Dylan Lindsay on saxophone and Faculty Soloist Allene Hackleman, horn — also Principal Horn of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra.
