What if a swimming pool could be a theatre? 🌊

This summer, children and their grown-ups stepped into Water Wishes — immersive theatre blending poetry, song, movement and play with water.

Created by Elm Tree Theatre with MacEwan University Sport and Wellness and 's Office of Research Services, the project let children explore at their own pace through sensory, child-led play — bringing research, teaching and creative practice together in one joyful space.

Earlier this year, presented the world premiere of Monoceros, a powerful new Canadian musical. But what does it take to bring brand-new characters to life for the very first time?
