From 2022-2025, the Garneau String Quartet has been the Quartet-in-Residence at the MacEwan University Conservatory of Music. The 25/26 season moves to the Winspear Centre for Music Conservatory, where they will perform their concert series and direct the Chamber Music Academy for Young Artists.

The Conservatory of Music has over 30 pianos available for sale, including: uprights and grands, one fortepiano, one harpsichord, and one organ. Appointments are required. First-come, first-served based on form submission. Limited time slots are available to view the grand pianos.

🌟 The upcoming Garneau String Quartet Concert: Enescue to the Rescue was inspired by the “Moving Mahler” event that brought Alberta’s orchestras together in 2023.

🎻 The quartet welcomes a phenomenal team of musicians from the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra to perform the incredible Octet of George Enescu (composed when he was just 19).

✨Enjoy the Mendelssohn String Quartet Op. 44 No. 1, known as one of the most virtuosic quartets of the literature - sparkling and effervescent, this piece is sure to get you bouncing in your seat.
