A blessed beginning for a bright future.
Even a little rain couldn't dampen the excitement as celebrated the site blessing and ceremonial sod-turning for St. Patrick Catholic Elementary/Junior High School. With the liturgy and blessing led by his Grace, Archbishop Stephen Hero, the event marked an important milestone in building a new home for Catholic education in West Edmonton. Located at 192 Street and River's Edge Way, the future K–9 school will serve families in River's Edge, Edgemont, and Stillwater and welcome approximately 950 students when it opens in Fall 2028.
Inspired by the faith, perseverance, and spirit of outreach demonstrated by St. Patrick, the school will support students as they excel in learning, grow in faith, serve their communities, and go on to make a difference in the world.
