We started the event off wth a keynote session where Diane Finstad and Karen Churchill had a fireside chat on changes coming into the dairy industry.
Our first session followed with three speakers discussing how to manage milk components. Our speakers in this session were Xiaoyan Chen, Phil Cardozo, and Rachel Gervais.
Thank you to our generous sponsors who made these sessions possible!

This morning we had 5 PhD students share their research with our attendees.
These presentations were part of an oral competition. There is also a poster competition taking place at the trade show.
Don’t forget to get your votes in on Slido for your favourite poster!
The winners will be announced this afternoon.

Have you seen attendees in red vests around the sessions or trade show? These are the committee members of the Western Canadian Dairy Seminar.
They would love to hear from you! Either approach them for a chat or fill out a short feedback survey on the event.
QR Codes for the feedback survey can be found when entering or leaving the sessions.
Filling out the survey will also give you a chance to win a free registration for next year! Just make sure to leave a name and contact information.
