THIS WEEKEND IS THE FREE ECO STATION EVENT!
From Sept 28-29th @ 8 AM-6 PM
ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED:
• Hazardous waste from businesses
• Biomedical waste
• Radioactive waste
• Pressurized gasses (Propane tanks and aerosol cans are accepted)
• Expired medications (take to a pharmacy)
• Explosives, munitions and fireworks (take to a police station, call 780-423-4567 first)
THIS WEEKEND IN THE LAST BIG BIN EVENT OF THE YEAR!
From Sept 21-22nd, residents can drop off items such as old couches, chairs, mattresses, and appliances free of charge @ Mill Woods Town Centre (2331 66 Street NW).
Computers and other electronics will also be accepted for recycling.
Edmonton Eco Stations are hosting free drop offs at all 4 locations.
The next event is Sept 28-29th @ 8 AM-6 PM.

Located at Commonwealth Stadium (11100 Stadium Road)
Materials accepted:
• Couches, chairs, mattresses and other household furniture items too large for curbside pickup
• Fridges, freezers, washers, dryers, other large household appliances
• Computers, televisions, other household electronics
• Tires and scrap metal
• Yard waste, including branches no longer than 4 feet by 2.5 feet in diameter
MATERIALS NOT ACCEPTED:
• Commercial waste
• Gas-powered equipment (lawnmowers, snow blowers)
• Household Hazardous Waste (take to an Eco Station, they will be accepted at no cost)
