Part 3 of this series.
Shin rolling is essential in our training.
We often block with our shins and check kicks with them.
This is a great starting point for new students or junior students to slowly toughen and shape the shin bone.

Part 2 of this series.
I am asking our students as they hit the makiwara, to simply push after.
If the two proper knuckles are pushing this will give the students instant feed back that their fist is aligned with the wrist to the shoulder.
This a great way to start safe and teach them proper technique.
Hope this helps.

We had the pleasure to meet Yechiel Leiter from the Ori Dojo.
He was in town for business and was able to join us for a few days of Karate training.
We enjoyed his company and we had a great time getting to know his insights on training.
Until we meet again and you are always welcome.
Thank you and safe travels back home.
