One of our regular activities when my kids were little was trips to the library and bookstore. Sometimes we would love a library book so much we had to buy a copy to keep, and sometimes we would find a perfect book in the bargain bins. Browsing for books is like a treasure hunt- even now.
My own kids are all grown up but still I used valuable luggage space while on vacay to bring some gems home.
1. We’ve sung this tune for years at Kindermusik class. What a treat to find it in a random gift shop on the Isle of Skye in Scotland 💜
2. Such a sweet message in this book about the difference that showing love makes 💜
3. Was about to make a hard choice about leaving this one behind just for reasons of space, but the sales clerk was so delighted I had picked it up because she’s a drummer and felt they were often overlooked as musicians…clearly I had no choice but to get it 💜
4. And then there’s this absolute wonder of a book -all about body positivity, normalizing all body types and representing colour diversity- just excellent 💜🌟
(Bought in Canada at Chapters)
Have you had a family trip to the bookstore lately?
