Edmonton Kenjutsu

The class for January 12, 2024 will be cancelled due to the extreme weather conditions. We plan to resume normal classes next week.

We had our last class of the year this week. We will be resuming practice on January 5.

A bit thank you to everybody who joined the dojo over the last few months, and we look forward to practising with you more in the New Year!

Please note that our Oct 13 class is cancelled, and we will be requiring N95 mask usage for all attendees and visitors for subsequent classes.

Edmonton Kenjutsu is now open, and our third class is tonight. We still have room for new students and are offering a free one-month trial period.

We have confirmed our training location. We are subletting from Kazoku Karate Dojo. It's a beautiful space with padded floor and high ceilings. We are really looking forward to training here!

Iaijutsu, or the art of drawing the sword, is a very complex and detail-oriented discipline. Learning how to return the sword safely to the saya is just as important as everything else, if not more so.
