To show our appreciation for the incredible learning opportunities our community partners provide to CSL students, CSL covers the tuition for one non-profit staff member per term to take one course through University of Alberta Continuing Education 🎓✨

Gain valuable skills in leadership, management, or professional development to help strengthen your non-profit’s impact—at zero tuition cost to you or your organization!🥧

Key Eligibility:

✅ Off-campus, non-profit organization partner in your 2nd term or higher as a CSL partner
✅ Supervised a minimum of 2 CSL students
✅ Not currently enrolled at a post-secondary institution

The CSL Student Equity Award is back for Fall 2026! 💰✨

With support from the Co-operative Education and Work-Integrated Learning Canada and the Canadian federal government, CSL is awarding up to 200 students with a $1,000 bursary for successful participation in an official CSL course in Fall 2026.

If you still have space in your Fall schedule, consider taking CSL and get $1,000 while building real-world experience, networking with community leaders and leveling up your resume. It's a win-win!

A large variety of CSL courses are eligible including: CSL 100, CSL 350, HECOL 301, SPAN 305, UKR 306 and more!

Do you want to make an impact on CSL's Adult Education program, Humanities 101 (HUM 101)? 🤝

We are seeking 1 U of A undergraduate student to support the initiatives and courses for adult learners across Edmonton.

HUM 101 is a CSL program that recognizes there are many Edmontonians who are not able to attend university classes due to institutional, financial, and situational barriers. HUM 101 offers free university-level, non-credit classes for individuals who want to participate in active learning that challenges conventions of who is the learner and who is the knower 📚

Working in the Fall 2026 term, the HUM 101 Education Outreach Intern will work to support classes in the following ways:

- Assist in hosting community engagement events
- Organize and facilitate the distribution of learning materials
- Help facilitate field trips and coordinate with learners to identify possible supports that are needed.

Hours/Salary: Up to 10 hours per week, $21.40 per hour

New CSL course alert! 🚨

UKR 306: Business Ukrainian will run in Fall 2026 with a newly added CSL opportunity!

UKR 306 is a language course for professional communication where students will develop beginner knowledge of Ukrainian for the professional world.

This course will include a CSL component and is eligible for the CSL certificate! Student will gain hands-on experience working with Ukrainian community partners. 📚

Prerequisites: UKR 212 (formerly 150, 202), or an equivalent level of language proficiency.

There are still spots left in CSL 100 for the Fall 2026 term!

CSL 100 combines classroom learning with hands-on community experience, giving students the opportunity to work alongside local organizations addressing real world challenges!

Whether your interests are social justice, community development, education, health, sustainability, or advocacy, CSL 100 helps you connect what you learn in class to meaningful action.
