We had the chance to meet the incredible team at Stantec as they hosted their own emPOWER Car Build Day.
The perfect combo of team building and community impact: coming together to build more cars for local kids and families.

The emPOWER Car has helped children with disabilities experience something many of us take for granted: the freedom to move, explore, play, and connect with others.
Thanks to incredible partners, volunteers, engineers, and supporters, dozens of local children have already benefited from the program. Now, we're working toward the next chapter.
To make more emPOWER Cars available to more families, we need to complete formal safety testing and engineering certification at a cost of ~$200,000. This process will help ensure the cars can be used in more settings and reach more children in the years ahead.
As a non-profit initiative, we're taking this journey with the support of our community. If you'd like to be part of helping us bring more emPOWER Cars to children who need them, we'd love to have you along for the ride.

A couple of weeks later, we're still smiling when we think about this year's Kids Included Family Festival. π
We've heard so much positive feedback from families about the opportunity to enjoy a fun day in an inclusive and welcoming environment. Those moments of community and belonging are exactly why we love what we do.
A special thank you again to NAC for sponsoring the festival and hosting us in Desrochers Villages. Your support helped make a meaningful day possible for so many children and families.
