Here's what that difference looks like in real life:
Saving is putting money into accounts.
Building wealth is understanding how those accounts fit into a bigger picture — tax strategy, cash flow, investment sequencing, and timing.
Most of us were taught to collect financial products.
A few things that actually move the needle:
→ Knowing when to use your TFSA vs RRSP (it's not always obvious)
→ Understanding how tax brackets affect your investment returns
→ Prioritizing income-producing assets, not just appreciating ones
→ Making sure your money has a job — not just a home
The people who get ahead financially aren't always the highest earners.
They're usually the ones who stopped following generic advice and started building an intentional plan.
