Getting ready to vote in Alberta’s provincial referendum?🗳️

If you’re eligible to vote, make sure you’re registered and your information is up to date before October 19

Advance voting: October 13–17
Voting day: October 19

Head to elections.ab.ca to register, check your voter information, review the referendum questions and find your voting location

Does CMA make sense for you?

The deadline to decide is Tuesday, September 22 at 11:59 p.m.

For Fall 2026, the University of Alberta introduced Course Material Access (CMA), which gives undergraduate students access to required course textbooks for a $259 flat fee per semester.

Depending on the materials required for your courses, staying in CMA could save you money.
For many others, opting out may make more sense.

Did you miss Fall Clubs Fair last week? Want to soak in the student group talent during your lunch break? Head to SUBstage (main floor SUB) from noon to 1PM this Wednesday and Thursday to see performances and presentations from the University of Alberta Dance Club, Swing-Out Edmonton, University of Alberta Mixed Chorus Society, Fencing Club, and the University of Alberta Film Society.

That’s how long it’s been since you were last on campus. And now… you’re back. 💚

Today, we kicked off the new school year with Campus Kickoff, and it was so good to see campus buzzing again.

As President Joseph said, seize the moment and make the most of your experience at one of the best universities in Canada and the world.
