Pass it on!

Enter ye (you) in at the straight gate; for wide is the gate, and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in thereof: because straight is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leads unto life, and few there be that find it. (Matt. 7:13,14 KJV)
Not my words! I'm just passing them on! Long weekend...more reading time. Hope you read this passage then flip to John chapter 3!
Blessings!

What this poem today, is trying to convey is: Yes, creation is beautiful, but the Creator is Excellent!
We are nothing, He is All in All.
The First and Last! (Revelation chapter 1)

Please read His Word - my words can NEVER match His.

●TODAY'S POST July 3, 2026●

In The Sermon on the Mount chapter 5 of the Book of Matthew, we are instructed to let our yes be yes and our no be no. Anything more comes from the evil in our hearts!

Phew! It doesn't get any clearer than that! There are many verses about our conversations, through our mouth, you can probably quote!
But I invite you to read this chapter and take it as it is literally put!

I am sure if our Lord were giving this sermon today, he'd have excellent advice, including the technology we are using! Do we use texting, or worse, Ai to message deceit and misguidance to loved ones, friends or even strangers?

I think that we sometimes hide behind our devices, which if we think about it...they have become our "mouth"

I don't know about you, but I am pretty sure I have sometimes without realizing it, been guilty of using technology in communication in a misguided way! When we let our fingers do the "talking" they really become the "rudder" or "bridle" of our mouth.

But as I like to say: read it for yourself, prayerfully and see what you think!

I hope this poem blesses many!

I am sure everyone experiences times in your life when you feel the need to slow down and pay attention! To Rest. To reset. To let your spirit, body, soul and mind come into the presence of the Almighty One! We are in a physical body which needs rest occasionally. Our Lord demonstrated this! He went off to be alone with the Father regularly! And then there were times He spent long periods in the Spirit (for example when He was tempted in the wilderness while fasting) ref. Any of the gospel books you wish!

When we know in our heart that we need a refreshing in Him, we should do it! I encourage it! I am sure you do as well if you are IN Him and He in You!

I don't get away to a tropical island or a cruise somewhere that looks peaceful. In fact, as much as it might be nice, I don't travel.

So, where do I go to find rest and re-fuel? Not far! A ride, walk, favorite chair, a couple days declared as time with Him! Why not!? We can get bogged down with BusYness! EVEN in His work!

Sometimes He just wants us to spend time ALONE with Him! How about the Secret Place? (Psalm 91)

Yes! We can be there anytime and All the time!! But when you are weary, the noise is too much...there is the Secret Place, for awhile. Just you and The Almighty!

Maybe we believers get too busy! Speaking mostly to myself here.

It was during one of these times recently for me that He gave me this poem!

Please be blessed by it! And please read my references!

Share the poems AND the WORD!

🌟 June 11 Reflection 🌟
THINK ABOUT IT!
We can read the Word every day, but if we ignore the punctuation, we may not be absorbing what is truly being said!
The difference is powerful:
I AM.
FEAR NOT.
DO NOT PUT YOUR TRUST IN MAN.
Where there is a period, don’t put a question mark!

In Jeremiah chapter 31, the Lord is speaking about His people, the families of Israel. Verse 3 says: The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, YES, "I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore, with loving-kindness have I drawn thee."
The Lord loves all of us just as He loves his people, Israel, with an everlasting love, which we are incapable of understanding, because, He is God and He draws us to Himself with loving-kindness. We are all His children and because He is a God of love, He cannot do anything but love us!
Again, don't take my word for it, read the chapter, read the book, read the Bible. Its full of truth. The world needs truth right now!

WHY POEYRY?
Poetry is an excellent avenue for putting across an important fact, idea or impression. This can be done, I feel by creating an imaginary picture which will easily form in your reader's mind. I always hope that I am creating a picture pop-up, so to speak, that will appear in the mind of my reader!
