Before heading to Calgary this week, The Honourable John Zerucelli, Secretary of State for Labour, was also in Fort McMurray touring our TaigaNova training Centre with Alberta Regional Manager, Chris Nash. 🤝

Today, we were proud to host this announcement at our Calgary Training Centre for our partners The Educational Partnership Foundation. We’re looking forward to teaching more TEPF courses, training young people and encourage their career in the skilled trades! 🤝📚🍎

📸 Our TEPF students had fun during the practical for Fall Protection and Mobile Elevated Work Platform.

Through our partnership with The Educational Partnership Foundation (TEPF) we provide the basic skills and safety training these young students need to explore the trades and encourage a career with the union.

Thanks to ACTI Edmonton & Calgary for doing the practicals.

🥞🤠 We were thrilled to be invited to and participate in the Local 2103 Calgary Stampede Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, July 4!

🔨 Our “Fastest Hammer in the West” competition station was a huge hit, with attendees putting their skills to the test and having a great time!

✨ A big thank you to Local 2103 for hosting such a fantastic event, and to all of our dedicated staff and volunteers who helped make the day a success. We enjoyed connecting with the local, members and community while showcasing the skilled trades in a fun and interactive way. We hope to be back again next year!

Some of our instructors attended this rigging course and will be attending the Train-the-Trainer at the International. This means we will be offering the Rigging course to members again in the near future! 🏗️
