Join us October 5–7, 2027, for three days of learning, connection, and conversation with people who are passionate about literacy and supporting communities.

• Networking opportunities
• Community connection and shared learning
• New ideas, resources, and perspectives

This conference is for educators, practitioners, researchers, community organizations, volunteers, and anyone working to support people of all ages.

September 30 is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Today, we honour Survivors of residential schools, remember the children who never came home, and recognize the lasting impacts on families, communities, and generations of Indigenous Peoples.

Reconciliation begins with acknowledging the truth of our shared history. It also means making space to listen, learn, and reflect on the experiences and perspectives of Indigenous Peoples.

We encourage you to take time today—and throughout the year—to learn from Indigenous voices, stories, and teachings, and to consider the role each of us can play in the ongoing journey toward reconciliation. 🧡

Dolly believed that when you’re in a position to help, you should help. She gave generously, dreamed big for children and spent her life finding ways to make a difference in the lives of others.

Today, we’re carrying that spirit forward.

A little throwback to sunny days, good books, and the kind of summer morning we wish we could hold onto just a little longer. ☀️📚

Literacy in the Park was full of stories, songs, science, snacks, free books, and so many wonderful people from our community. We’re so grateful to everyone who helped make the day special!
