THE CRAFT THAT BUILDS THE MAN
Every Mason remembers taking the degrees.
But how often do we stop to consider what those experiences were truly intended to accomplish?
This July, Arkhitekton Lodge invites the Brethren to an evening of education exploring one of the most fundamental questions in Craft Masonry:
What is the practical purpose of the Three Degrees?
Rather than revisiting ritual for ritualβs sake, this presentation encourages us to reflect on the lasting impact of the Entered Apprentice, Fellow Craft, and Master Mason degrees, and what they continue to mean long after the ceremonies have concluded.
Whether you were raised recently or decades ago, this promises to be an evening of thoughtful discussion, reflection, and meaningful Masonic education.

Education β’ Ritual β’ Fellowship
05/30/2026
A sincere thank you to everyone who joined us this evening for Arkhitekton Lodge No. 205βs first education piece of the Masonic year.
It was wonderful to see both members and visiting Brethren come together for an evening of education, discussion, and fellowship as we explored:
The Square & Compasses
β a journey with the abstract means and ends of the science β
Thank you to WM Jostein Haugland, RW Bro Garry Schultz, and VW Bro Andrew Hewitt for their time, preparation, and insights.
Most importantly, thank you to all who attended and contributed to the conversation. The strength of our Craft is found not only in our ritual and traditions, but in the fellowship we share and the lessons we learn from one another.
We look forward to seeing everyone again at our next gathering.
