Green Day at EIA 💚
As part of Mental Health Week, we wore green to reflect on peace, balance, and well-being. In Islam, green symbolizes tranquility and reminding us to nurture our hearts and minds with care.

Earth Day at EIA 🌍💚
Today our students rolled up their sleeves and took action by cleaning up the school yard, collecting litter, sorting waste, and working together to make their surroundings cleaner and greener.
Through teamwork and hands-on effort, they learned the value of caring for the environment and taking responsibility for their community.
Small actions, big impact!

EIA Students | Islamic Relief Inspire Program 🇹🇷
Thirty EIA High School students recently traveled to Istanbul to take part in Islamic Relief Canada’s INSPIRE program—an experience rooted in service, leadership, and purpose.
Through meaningful partnership with Islamic Relief Türkiye, our students led an orphan camp for 60 incredible children living in Istanbul. These children come from diverse and often difficult backgrounds—Türkiye, Gaza, Syria, and Uyghur communities from East Turkistan—each with their own story of resilience.
Despite language barriers and the weight of social and emotional challenges, our students rose to the occasion. They built connections beyond words, created moments of joy, and delivered a camp filled with care, creativity, and compassion.
This is what leadership looks like.
The INSPIRE program is not just about travel—it’s about shaping humanitarian leaders and global change makers. It’s about helping students understand the world beyond themselves and empowering them to respond with empathy and action.
From classrooms to compassion in action - another important part of EIA’s mission and school program.

Another EIA Legendary Achievement 💫
“Last week, I had the opportunity to attend the Youth Digital Rights Summit with the John Humphrey Centre for Peace and Human Rights in Ottawa. After months of contributing to the Youth Digital Rights Blueprint, it was incredibly rewarding to present it at Parliament Hill and the University of Ottawa.
Surrounded by policymakers, advocates, legal experts, and fellow youth leaders, we discussed the importance of protecting youth in digital spaces and ensuring youth voices are not only heard but truly considered in policy decisions. Grateful for the opportunity to learn, collaborate, and be part of meaningful conversations shaping the future of digital rights in Canada. This is only the beginning.
