Smiles and Sunshine Dayhome

"Not all classrooms have walls." We went on a nature walk where the kids collected natural materials and had a wonderful time painting them later.

"Life advice: Go on a picnic, even if it's just in your backyard, and summer is the best time to do it." Children at Smiles and Sunshine Day home have indulged in various activities, while in the backyard.

Smiles and Sunshine dayhome has two full time spots from May. We are licensed from Alberta government and provide nourishing and caring environment in regulation with agency. We are located in Crawford Plains, Millwoods. Breakfast, lunch and snacks provided throughout the day. Transportation available to Sakaw, Mayokumin and Crawford Plains school. With sun shining bright and weather being so beautiful, snow is surely melting. Those ice patches in the corners are great for walking and jumping on. Such a wonderful sound and sensory experience. Also children are collecting stones, leaves and sticks underneath this melting snow.

You give children a medium and they show their creativity. I was so pleased to see this when one of my children drew this picture with the dayhome name on.

Smiles and Sunshine day home is now accepting children from 12 months to 12 years of age.
We are walking distance from Crawford Plains elementary school and offer before and after school care.
