The Mawji Centre is excited to welcome Monica Rukeba as our new Entrepreneurship Engagement Officer, a newly created role at the Centre.

Monica brings valuable experience supporting and coaching startup founders through Edmonton Unlimited, along with a deep passion for entrepreneurship and a strong commitment to helping others succeed. She’s eager to help advance the Mawji Centre’s mission of empowering the next generation of changemakers.

We’re thrilled to have someone with her talent and experience join us as we continue helping NAIT students start and grow their companies. Welcome aboard, Monica!

We had so much fun last year that we decided to do it again!

Come visit our booth at in the Edmonton Expo Centre in the Innovation Centre between July 22-24th. We will have 14 student businesses rotating through the booths over that time so come by often. Also, be sure to check out the other vendors. We have several students who decided to showcase at their own booths for the full 10 days. This is just another way the Mawji Centre is making an impact!

Hubert Lau is coming in on June 10th over the lunch hour (noon) to deliver his presentation "Start a Business with No Money, No Experience, and No Customers".

Hubert is one of our most popular speakers and mentors. He's built and exited multiple startups and is the current CEO of TrustBIX, which he built from a startup to become publicly traded. TrustBIX is a startup helping to track food from the farm to the table using data.
