Building relationships within our community is so important, and this playdate was a great way to strengthen those bonds.

✨️One man's trash is another man's treasure! ✨️

Using recycled materials, our Jr. Toddler class created a beautiful mural that showcases creativity, imagination, and the importance of sustainability. Each piece of discarded material tells a story, transforming what was once considered waste into a vibrant work of art. The process involved messy paint play, where the children splattered, smeared, and blended colors, adding an extra layer of fun and spontaneity to their artwork. This mural not only serves as a stunning visual piece but also teaches our little ones about the value of recycling and being mindful of our environment. We are so proud of their hard work and artistic expression!

Our Sr. Toddlers began their day with an exciting muddy race, fully embracing the joy of outdoor play. This energetic exploration naturally flowed into a car wash activity, where they collaborated and engaged in imaginative play, enhancing their social skills and fostering a sense of community.

Our Jr. Preschool room built a robot from recycled materials as part of our centre-wide Recycled Materials Provocations Challenge! This initiative encourages everyone to rethink, reuse, and reimagine everyday items. As they engage in this creative project, the children are developing fine motor skills, practicing turn-taking, and learning valuable lessons in collaboration, problem-solving, and environmental responsibility. This aligns beautifully with the Flight, which highlights the importance of nurturing creativity and critical thinking in early childhood development!

Today in the Baby room, our morning sensory exploration embraced the principles of Flight —fostering curiosity, creativity, and connection! ✨️

Our little explorers engaged with dry lentils, pasta, and colorful straws, enjoying hands-on experiences that spark their imagination. They practiced fine motor skills by sliding pasta through straws, discovering new ways to play and learn. It’s incredible how simple activities can support their growth and development. ☀️🌈
