E2 Academy is dedicated to being a safe place for twice-exceptional students In the first year, E2Academy opened with 1 teacher and 7 students.

Today is Learning Facilitators Appreciation Day, and we want to recognize the incredible people who help make E2 Academy what it is. ❤️

Our Learning Facilitators are encouragers, advocates, co-regulators, problem-solvers, and trusted supports for our students every single day.

Whether they are helping a student through a tough moment, celebrating successes, or adapting support in real time, their impact is immeasurable.

Quite honestly, our school would not last a day without them.

Thank you for the compassion, patience, humour, flexibility, and heart you bring to our community!

💙 Happy Learning Facilitators Appreciation Day! 💙

Happy Pride Month! 🌈

At E2 Academy, we proudly support our 2SLGBTQIA+ staff, students, and families. We believe in the power of diversity and the strength it brings to our community.

Research suggests that neurodivergent individuals are more likely to identify as 2SLGBTQIA+, reminding us that inclusion means embracing and celebrating all aspects of identity. This month and every month, we are committed to fostering a school community where everyone feels valued, respected, and belongs.

Today’s Ask an Expert session was out of this world! 🚀🌕

We were honoured to welcome YouTuber and space enthusiast Zachary Aubert from The Launch Pad, who spoke with all of our students about NASA, space exploration, and the incredible Artemis II mission.

I don’t think anyone has ever captured the kids’ attention more. The excitement, curiosity, and thoughtful questions from our students made this such an awesome experience for everyone involved. Hearing about Artemis II and Zachary’s journey as a successful YouTuber inspired so many future explorers, scientists, engineers… and of course every kid’s big dream these days, becoming a successful YouTuber themselves! 🌎✨🚀

A huge thank you to Zachary for taking the time to connect with our students and share his passion for space exploration. We hope Zachary comes back again!

Today marks the beginning of Tourette Awareness Month. At Tourette Canada, we know awareness is only the beginning. Community and support matter too.

Living with Tourette Syndrome can sometimes feel isolating, whether you’re a parent trying to help your child navigate the world, a teen figuring things out, or an adult balancing daily life while feeling misunderstood.

There are Weekly National Online Peer Support Meetings for:
• Moms
• Adults
• Youth ages 13–18

These spaces are built for connection, understanding, and honest conversation with people who truly get it.

This month, let’s continue building awareness, compassion, and community together.

Today we had the pleasure of welcoming back Home Comfort Hygienist! This time to provide dental cleanings for both students and staff. One staff member was even able to book in some teeth whitening! 🦷

Their mobile dental hygiene services made the experience so convenient and comfortable because everything happened right here at E2, in a familiar environment our students know and trust. For many children and neurodiverse individuals, traditional dental offices can feel overwhelming due to unfamiliar sounds, smells, lights, and sensory experiences. Home Comfort Hygienist offers a more accessible, sensory-informed approach that helps reduce anxiety and supports patient-led, inclusive care.

We are grateful to partner with a company that understands the importance of making oral health care accessible, comfortable, and positive for everyone. Thank you for helping keep our smiles healthy! 😁
