Such a wonderful day celebrating Filipino Cultural Day! Students had the opportunity to learn the traditional folk dance Tinikling while enjoying delicious ube and keso-flavoured ice cream. It was a fun and meaningful way to experience and celebrate Filipino culture together. Thanks to Ms. Lucky, Ms. C and their student planning team for helping us experience a little bit of Filipino culture today.

Tomorrow we will celebrate our last AJ Cultural Day of the year, learning about the Filipino culture. We will be having an ube/ keso ice cream sale at lunch, selling for $2.
There will be a few activities taking place such as: a tinikling dance station, jeepney colouring, a photobooth, and a ‘banig’ art display.
A demonstration of Filipino martial arts called Arnis was part of the event, however, it has unfortunately been cancelled due to health reasons. They are giving all our students a gift certificate for a 2 week membership. Students can ask a teacher for details.
