With demoing a century old building there are bound to be surprises. The interesting thing learned from the Great West Saddlery Building is the surprises even though challenging are integrable to the evolving design.

We are renovating this space in the heart of downtown Edmonton. We'll be re-purposing most of the relics to create an aesthetic that voices the past, while facing the future. More to come...

At SArt-Designs we counsel in existential therapy. Fear and misinformation are illusions that we can learn to skillfully navigate. Our purpose is to inform and offer perspectives that acknowledges the tragic comedies of life. Our efforts are to adapt to the trials of life and thrive during extraordinary times.

As, example: At 49:10, In this doc. The well known psychologist Sheldon Solomon, proposes the key principle, the Denial of Death, from his Terror Management Theory (TMT). This theory is one of social psychology's most proven theories. The traditional forms of mass media certainly know the influential appeal of "Shock and Awe". The principles laid out in TMT are used to perfection in shaping human behaviour and beliefs. It is likely, Jeff Gibbs and Micheal Moore know these principles too.

It is SArt-Designs' perspective that this documentary is attempting to manufacture a religious dogma that has hateful core beliefs toward our own species. Gibbs suggests humans must blame themselves for the current existential situation. This is a very harmful belief structure. Because instead of acknowledging the gifts of modern society, such as despite human population growth more people than ever before are being lifted out of poverty. But Gibbs and Moore propagate the theory of over population and the immediate necessity to control human reproduction and activity. All the while, propagated during a biological pandemic with serious eugenics and population control undertones.

Gibbs goes on to blame capitalism for its lust for fossil fuels and consumerism. Once, again these are theories that stimulate primitive emotions of fear and division. The world economy isn't run by laissez-faire markets. Current world finances, trade, and industrialization operate by top-down oligarchical controls that are more akin to a hybrid of communism and fascism. In this current system that was solidified in the 1970's, the rich get richer and the poor get poor. But it is all an illusion. We all are indebted to this debt-based system no matter how much you make or don't.

The current debt system is evolving rapidly into a form of Techno Serfdom. A technocracy of elite experts and wealthy holding privilege over the common under class. Contrary to the belief that science will guide the technocracy, it is all illusionary. A person's privilege represents who they know and how they know what they know. Its not a system based on what we know.

This vanity is a temporary shield from the horrors totalitarian control. It won't last. The mysteries of 5G indicate the attempted coming of world technocracy. AI will be integrated into our all human experiences disguised in the cloak of safety, knowledge, and peace. All activity will be mined and directed toward authoritarian economies. But in reality none of these things are possible. Without free individual expression creation suffers. To control creation from a pseudo top-down authority is not control. It is enslavement toward outcomes that originate from primal instincts of fear, disgust and hate.

We do not expect others to hold these same beliefs and theories. We essentially understand that these are fragmented times. The debouchment into unknown territory between what was and what is being revealed. This uncertainty stimulates anxiety. But we do not believe nor have experienced that anxiety is solely negative. Stress is necessary for prosperity and social empathy. This is why we suggest making peace with our existential truths. As, Solomon suggests, when we make good with the denial of death, then anything is possible. Once, our blinders of delusion are off we are free to seek alternatives. This doesn't mean our religious beliefs are our delusions. It means our capacity to imagine and feel is, a gift from God. In truth, God is the most beautiful and sacred thing we could possibly imagine.

The narrative that we're made in the likeness of God is perfect harmony. When we give grace to the high of the most high, while knowing our fate is sealed on the crossroads of life, then we know God. Christ, is the way. Christ, doesn't hide the denial. It is not top-down tyranny. Christ, helps us face our fate with perfect love.

The author of the article uses two examples to legitimize the dunning-kruger-effect: the stereotypical pompous male and the percentiles of focus groups. Both these examples are just as limited as anything, especially when the subjectivity of biases affects the scales of predictability.

All in all, the Dunning-Kruger-Effect is inescapable. But this doesn't mean our core character is weak. It just means good faith is a moral attribute where sincerity, whether its established expertise or smoke up the rear is not the bench mark. Action and words are a two way highway. It is just, as important to walk the talk, as it is to talk the walk.

At SArt-Designs we do this by allowing the aesthetics of life and experience be the mirrors of our attitudes, skills, and knowledge. We allow the mistakes to inform not shame.

We achieve this by approaching projects in the spirit of play. To introduce and maintain relations with things and people involved in projects. As the challenges intensify we match them with effort. Blindsides do happen and they do impede. Yet, with playful attitudes that grow through the grit of effort, projects ultimately inform upon how we apply knowledge, skills, and attitudes. In total, a moral of good faith is established among the people and things of any project. It's called Relational Aesthetics.

Never would we judge someone or something, as incompetent. Only temporarily short sighted in bad faith.

Dunning-Kruger Effect: Why Incompetent People Think They Are Superior The Dunning-Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which the incompetent lack the skills and cognitive abilities to recognize their own inability.
