mîkistahikâcimo (to tell a story through beadwork)

Join us on March 19 (Saturday) from 2:00 to 3:30 pm to learn how beadwork contributed to contemporary Indigenous governance and decolonial praxis from Tara Kappo, beadwork artist, nîhiyaw’skwew of the sakâwiyiniwak from the Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation, and a University of Alberta graduate. You will be able to learn about Indigenous research methodology and get hands-on experience in research creation that can be applied in your own academic work. You don’t need anything sophisticated to start thinking out of the box! Just take your pencil and a paper, open your heart, and join us online. Register NOW!
