Unfortunately there has not been enough interest in purchasing vendor tables for this event. I am canceling this time. Hopefully we can make some change and a better financial future in our field so that we will be able to hold more resource based events for our ECEs.

All purchased vendor tables will be refunded within the next 24 hours.

January 4th is National Ribbon Skirt Day. On this day we acknowledge and celebrate the wearing of ribbons skirts for formal and informal events by Indigenous people.

It commemorates the experience of Isabelle Kulak, a member of Cote First Nation in Saskatchewan who was shamed for wearing a handmade ribbon skirt to a formal day at her elementary school.

Today we talk with children about being proud of who they are and what they wear. And we share our traditional ribbon skirts with them.
