Some people have received a notice from Evite (with Tony Kernaghan's name) to post pictures of the event that (supposedly) took place May 14, 2022. We are not sure how it happened but the reunion is not until September 17, 2022 so you haven't missed it.
Another Evite will be coming out shortly with ticket information. Please be on the lookout for it, and check your JUNK folder in case that is where it ended up.
It has been a real long haul so thank you all for your continued patience. Looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible.

We are trying to get a jump on things so could anyone interested, please send their music requests as a post to this page. We will try to accommodate everyone, key word being try. By getting this in motion now, there is more chance of it happening. It would be a shame to not have your favourite song from high school not available, and please include the artist.
Who doesn't remember Jackie Wilson's Higher and Higher? Girls on guys shoulders dancing - who could forget it!

The date has been set - Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Balwin Community Hall. Looking forward to reconnecting with former classmates and reliving our glory days at QECHS.

We really hate to do this, but we are postponing again until the fall 2022. We are waiting to hear the status of the hall ( can't have the reunion if it isn't open). Hopefully all this uncertainty isn't causing people to change
their minds. Think positive please!

The committee is meeting again January 25, 2022 to discuss what is happening. The reunion has been rescheduled again to May 14, 2022 and we are hopeful that it will happen. Please bear with us, it has been a lot of hard work and we would hate for it not to go forward but Covid and all its complications are not making it easy.

My technical abilities suck to put it bluntly. I apologize to everyone. I wanted to make this page a lot better but it is just another thing that Covid is affecting. Please bear with me and remember it is me (Brenda Johnson Oshman) that is the klutz. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Anyway, a few messages have gone out through Evite and I will try to pass them on today.

A committee of 1970 QECHS Grad alumnae were planning a 50th reunion for September 19, 2020 however due to the Corona Virus uncertainty, we have rescheduled to May 1, 2021. All students and staff from 1969 to 1971 are also invited. Tickets will be $60 each. Information for ordering tickets will follow.

A reply would be appreciated, sending a message with your name when in high school, if different from today, will also help us plan.

Thank you to everyone who have replied to Evite. To date, of the 173 Evites sent out, we have 98 yes, 47 maybe, 9 no and 58 no reply.
We understand so many "Maybes" and "No Replies" with the Celebration being 10 months away, and appreciate it may be difficult to make a decision at this time. We will continue to send updates every 2 months with new information and the number of tickets sold and the number remaining.

Message 3 in September will have Ticket Order Information.

All QECHS students and staff from 1969, 1970and 1971 are welcome.

Due to Covid 19, we have decided to postpone the reunion until May 1, 2021. The event will be held at Balwin Community Hall. We will advise you of more details as we draw closer to the date.

As a lot of people overlapped the class of 1970, we decided to try to contact the classes of 1969 and 1971 as well but anyone that is interested in attending is more than welcome. The more the merrier. We have set Saturday, September 19, 2020 as a tentative date but have not picked a venue yet. If anyone would like to help, please contact us.
