Lizzo and Galway? So cool!

A word from the Galway’s,

“Now that the secret is out, we were honoured and overwhelmed to be asked to attend yesterday’s Met Gala at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Furthermore, after three years of performing online only, Sir James was thrilled to accompany Lizzo onstage to perform as part of the special live performance during the evening. It truly was an evening we will treasure forever.”

Resilience through music makes sense! This is one of the reasons I love in person lessons- so we can play duets and make music as a team.

A new study shows how teamwork, empathy and grit – all components of resilience – can be developed through group music making.

As we get closer to September, I wanted to make everyone aware of my cleaning/health studio policy. While Covid-19 is an issue, I will be screening students at the door (no thermometer, however that may change).
•Missed lessons will be made up due to illness. No loss of fees.
•Hand sanitizer is mandatory upon entry and exit, as well as immediately when you sit down at the piano.
• Proper masks are mandatory
•Parents are encouraged to wait in their car/outside, however I do have an inside waiting space for family/sibling groups and because the weather can be so miserable.
