Welcome! We're a food sensory research group at the University of Alberta. Our research goal is 'great tasting food for life'!
We perform sensory and consumer science evaluations of consumers and the food products they consume. We apply novel and conventional sensory science techniques to evaluate food products, and use consumer science methods to understand consumer perceptions, attitudes and motivations of food selection. Recent research studies include:
