The provincial government has passed legislation that orders teachers back to work, concluding the labour action. Classes will resume in ALL Edmonton Public Schools on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. We look forward to welcoming students and teaching staff back.

If you are signing up for the Alberta Education and Childcare parent payment program, you will need your child’s 9-digit Alberta Student Number (ASN). You can now find this number on SchoolZone next to your child’s name in the top menu area.
If you are unable to locate the number, please contact your child’s school directly or call our temporary support line at 780-429-8007. The support line is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday to Friday.
The Alberta Education and Childcare parent payment program is open for the duration of the strike and will remain open for several weeks after. Visit the province’s website for information about eligibility and how to apply: www.alberta.ca/parent-supports-during-school-closure
