Dot Sticker Name Flowers:
Children participated in a name recognition activity using dot stickers and flower templates. Each flower was labeled with the letters of the child's name. Children carefully matched the letters on the dot stickers to the corresponding letters on their flowers and placed them on the correct petals. This activity supported letter recognition, name awareness, fine motor development, hand-eye coordination, and concentration while making learning fun and engaging.

The kids had a blast exploring painting frozen flowers outside, then brought them to the sand table for more fun. Those frozen flowers really sparked their imaginations, leading to all sorts of pretend play and stories. They even built a sea with turtles hiding at the bottom, using leaves and dandelions as sea creatures, and a bottle of sand as a lighthouse. Some kids also played around with different sand toys, scooping and pouring. It was a great open-ended experience that encouraged creativity, exploration, sensory learning, and social interaction.

Busy Outdoor Play Day: Bee Art, Sand Kitchen, Chalk Fun & Homemade Popsicles! 🐝🍧
The children had a wonderful time exploring and playing outdoors in a variety of fun and imaginative ways.
They used cardboard bee templates with holes and carefully placed dandelions inside to create beautiful “bee” designs, showing creativity and fine motor control. The sand area turned into a busy pretend kitchen where they made all kinds of imaginative food creations together. The children also engaged in active dramatic play as they took on roles of police officers and “bad guys,” working together to catch and chase during their storytelling play. In addition, they enjoyed creative chalk art outdoors.
To make the day even more special, a friend shared homemade popsicles, which everyone enjoyed as a refreshing and much-loved treat on a warm outdoor day.
