Today is Treaty 6 Recognition Day, an opportunity to reflect on the history and significance of Treaty 6, acknowledge the lands we live and work on, and continue learning about our responsibilities toward reconciliation.

Congratulations to the graduates of our Residential Construction Program in Big Horn!

Over the course of the program, these participants developed valuable hands-on construction skills, built confidence, and took meaningful steps toward rewarding careers in the skilled trades. Today, we celebrate not only their hard work and dedication but also the exciting opportunities that lie ahead.

We were honoured to have Chief and Council join us in recognizing this incredible achievement, along with our valued partners from Community Futures Treaty 7. Thank you for your ongoing support and for celebrating the success of these graduates.

We are incredibly proud of everything this group has accomplished and look forward to seeing each graduate begin their apprenticeship journey!

A new journey is underway in Chipewyan Prairie First Nation

This week, the students started the Residential Construction Program, where they'll gain valuable career skills and hands-on construction experience while building an eco-smart small home.

A special thank you to Eagle Healing for leading an inspiring empowerment workshop to launch the program. Your guidance and encouragement helped set the tone for a positive, empowering learning experience.

We can't wait to follow this group's journey and celebrate all they'll accomplish in the weeks ahead!
