Reading the Power of Focus

Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people both now and forevermore.
My security, my protection, my shield and my confidence is in the Lord alone! He surrounds me with His love, His peace, His strength, His mantle of protection both now and forevermore!!!

My morning devotional:

Psalms 71:1-3 In you O Lord I have taken refuge… Rescue me and deliver me in your righteousness…Be my rock of refuge, for which I can always go.

Every time I experience troubles and take refuge (shelter or protection from danger or distress) in Christ I see more of His righteousness, that He is worthy, He is Sovereign. I get to know Him more intimately as my Father who loves me, who is faithful and who’s got the best in mind for me.

As we pursue His righteousness, His dreams for us, there are obstacles, troubles and in those times, taking refuge or finding a safe place in Christ and getting comfort in Him is the best place to be in. He will restore our life, increase our honor and comfort us!!!
