🎣 Catch a Colorful Fish!

Children use wooden tongs to catch pipe cleaner fish from a bucket. This invitation supports:

* Fine motor development and hand strength
* Hand-eye coordination
* Problem-solving and concentration
* Color recognition and sorting
* Counting and early math concepts

Schemas:

* Connecting – exploring the shape and texture of the pipe cleaner fish.
* Positioning – arranging and sorting fish by color.
* Transporting – moving fish from the bucket to containers or sorting trays.
* Containing – placing and collecting fish in the bucket.

This activity encourages children to explore, investigate, and build confidence through playful learning.
