As administrators and early childhood educators, we are gratified with children expressing their emotions, thoughts, ideas, and understanding of the world around them. Allowing children the time and space to act out scenarios that are relative to what is happening in their daily life, extends their knowledge surrounding their experiences. Play is an integral part of brain development! Children learn self regulation skills, test hypotheses, build planning, motor, and visual spatial skills, all through play and inquiry based learning! We are so proud to be supporting children as co constructors of their own knowledge at Bright Horizons Childcare!

When educators provide children with many opportunities to play, and develop relationships with their peers, this helps children make sense of their world! At Bright Horizons we provide loose parts materials, open ended resources, consistent relationships, and allow children the freedom to be a co-constructor of knowledge. We encourage children to lead the way, as we engage in the journey of learning with them.
