Stampede is where Canada's business and institutional leaders show up.

Our team spent it connecting with the people who shape how this country trains its workforce. Government and regulatory leaders. Associations and credentialing bodies. Training providers and the employers who depend on them.

We connected across construction, transportation, energy, finance, insurance, real estate, and safety. We celebrated with partners old and new. We caught up with familiar faces and met plenty we hope to see again.

A few highlights from the week:

🤝 Breakfasts, lunches, and receptions with industry partners and associations
🐎 Chuckwagon races and the Grandstand Show with valued partners
🏛️ Conversations with business, government, and community leaders from across the country
🌟 Welcoming new partners into the WKT network

Every conversation was a reminder of why we do this. Meaningful partnerships are built one conversation at a time.

Thank you to everyone who made room in a busy week to connect with our team. We're already counting down to next year.

When a new partner throws a party, you show up. 🥂

We were honoured to celebrate OpenCircle's 40 Proof Gala. 40 years of supporting Canada's construction industry and the people who make it stronger every day.

OpenCircle has built more than a network. It's built a community. We're proud to partner with an organization that shares our belief: investing in people builds a stronger industry.

Thanks for having us. Here's to the next 40. 👏

In our Edmonton office hangs a Canadian flag with a meaningful history. It was flown over Centennial Park at Vimy Ridge, France, and it serves as a quiet reminder of the people, places, and moments that have shaped this country.

At We Know Training, we’re proud to be a Canadian company. Our team includes people born here, people who chose Canada as home, and people who have celebrated becoming Canadian citizens while working alongside us.

This Canada Day, we’re grateful for the opportunity to build, learn, and serve from here.

Happy Canada Day from our team to yours. 🍁

Our marketing sites run on a modern stack. We need someone to help keep them sharp.

We're hiring a Contract Front-End Developer for our Marketing team in Edmonton.

You'll build and maintain production pages across our ReadyEngine platform sites, handle storefront updates through RapidLMS's CMS, and get hands-on with a real deployment pipeline from day one.

You'll work in:
➡️ Next.js, React 19, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
➡️ Content management through MDX and Sanity.
➡️ Version control in Git with GitHub Actions.
➡️ Deployment on Docker and AWS.

Edmonton-based. In-office preferred, with flexibility for the right person.

Financial services run on credentials. The organizations that get licensing right attract better people and reduce compliance risk. That's the problem this role is built to solve.

We're hiring an Account Executive to own Ontario and Eastern Canada for We Know Training. The right fit for this role is someone who already knows the financial services and insurance space: the buyers, the licensing frameworks (LLQP, CIRO), and the conversations that actually open doors.

Business Career College is WKT's recognized name in financial services licensing. You'd be selling from a foundation that already has credibility in the room.

French language skills are a strong asset for this territory.

This role is built for someone with roots in safety-sensitive industries — oil and gas, construction, mining, transportation, manufacturing.

Someone who knows what due diligence means to a safety manager, can walk into a conversation about WHMIS or TDG without a briefing, and has a network they can activate from day one.

You'll be selling WKT's training platform and content catalogue across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, representing brands like Danatec and Fleet Safety International that are already trusted in the sectors you know.

If compliance and workforce training are problems you understand from the inside, the full posting is in the comments.

Today, on the 30th anniversary of National Indigenous Peoples Day, we recognize and celebrate the histories, cultures, languages, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples across Canada.

As an Edmonton-based organization, we acknowledge that our office is located on Pêhonân, a historic gathering place where Indigenous Peoples have come together for generations to share knowledge, build relationships, and connect in community.

We encourage our team and community to take time today to learn, listen, and reflect on the rich histories and enduring contributions of Indigenous Peoples. 🧡

Reasonable cause assessment carries legal weight, and most supervisors have never been trained for it.

We've added the Shift OHS Reasonable Cause Supervisor Training to the WKT Network. Available now through Danatec, Fleet Safety International, and our reseller and storefront partner sites across Canada.

The 4-hour online course prepares supervisors to recognize Fitness for Duty concerns, conduct Reasonable Cause and post-incident investigations, and take legally defensible action. It meets and exceeds the Supervisor Training requirements of the Canadian Model for Providing a Safe Workplace and U.S. DOT regulations.

3,000+ supervisors trained since 2018. If your organization has a Fit for Duty policy, this is the training to back it up.

Strong safety outcomes start before work begins. That's the premise behind Workshop 3 at this year's Energy Safety Conference, which we’re proud to sponsor.

Led by Dr. Siddarth Bhandari of the Construction Safety Alliance, From Planning to Protection is a four-hour session built around three integrated tools: high-quality pre-task meetings, High Energy Control Assessment, and the Safety Classification and Learning model.

Field-ready methods for safety leaders, supervisors, and operational teams.
