A few of the hits from our week at Playschool! 💚

So much curiosity and discovery happening through play. From building and experimenting with loose parts, to exploring old photo slides on the light table, using magnifying glasses to look a little closer, and even trying out a real camera!

Our first week of Playschool! 💚

We are SO proud of our parents for doing those quick and calm goodbyes at the door. It made such a difference and helped the children walk into the classroom smoothly and confidently.

We loved the smiles, excitement, and growing confidence! 🥰

What an amazing first week. We loved watching everyone settle in, explore, play, and begin to feel comfortable in their new space. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the year brings! 🍃

A favorite last-day tradition! 🎉

Our preschoolers made their very own piñatas, then celebrated by taking turns breaking them open and collecting the treats inside. Watching their excitement and proud smiles made it the perfect way to end an incredible year together 💛✨

Our taco themed play kitchen was filled with felt tortillas, taco meat, and toppings for creating all kinds of pretend tacos. Paired with reading Dragons Love Tacos, this playful invitation sparked creativity, storytelling, communication, and definitely a hunger for authentic tacos by the end of the day 🌮

We started the week with Backwards Day! It was full of laughs, backwards clothes, and big learning! 🤪👕

The children even did calendar backwards, counted backwards in English and Spanish, and practiced the seasons and days of the week in reverse too! Activities like these help children build flexibility, patience, problem solving skills, and confidence when routines change, all through play 💛

Four Parent Days in two days 💛
Parents joined us, and the children shared their playschool world. Including some very cute Cinco de Mayo “tacos” from our kitchen 🌮
