Chile's Independence Day (Fiestas Patrias) is on September 18th, but one of our friends from Chile attends the center only for Thursday so we celebrated Fiestas Patrias today. Kids painted Chile's flags. We made Charquican and Sopapillas with Pebre sauce for a special Chilean lunch. We want to say thank you to Infanta Family for sharing their traditional and cultural information and values with us alongside their favorite food with recipes.

Kids collected twigs and pine cones from our neighborhood. They turn these nature items into a wonderful masterpiece by using paint, yarn, pipe cleaners and beads .
