P1 Testing | June 30, 2026

Congratulations to everyone who challenged themselves and completed their P1 testing!

Testing is never just about demonstrating techniques. It's about the hours of practice, overcoming nerves, and having the confidence to step onto the mat and do your best.

Just like our recent P2 testing, one of the highlights of this exam was seeing two sets of family members complete the test together. Watching family members train, encourage one another, and celebrate each other's accomplishments is something truly special. Those are memories that will last a lifetime.

Congratulations to each of our newest P1 graduates. You've earned it! We look forward to watching each of you continue your Krav Maga journey into the Intermediate program.

A huge thank you also goes to our instructor, Leah, everyone who helped partner during testing, and the entire Tip of Spear Krav Maga community. Every person who steps onto the mat helps create an environment where people are supported, challenged, and encouraged to grow.

This community continues to grow, and we're proud of every one of you.

P2 Testing Day | June 29, 2026

Congratulations to everyone who challenged themselves during our P2 testing!

A P2 exam is no small feat. Over two hours of technical demonstrations, stress, problem solving, and applying everything you've learned. Regardless of the outcome, stepping onto the mat and putting yourself to the test takes courage.

A special thank you also goes to Kevin.

Kevin wasn't testing this time. He simply came to support the group, partner with students whenever an extra person was needed, and cheer everyone on.

Watching Kevin over the past year has been inspiring. When he first challenged his own P2 exam, he knew he probably wasn't quite ready. He received a conditional pass and then did what many people won't do... he kept showing up.

He trained. He asked questions. He worked with Intermediate and Advanced students. He put in the time. Eventually, after additional training and video reviews, he earned his P2.

That journey says a lot about who Kevin is.

Our club isn't just built on belts and certificates. It's built on people who encourage each other, celebrate each other's successes, and remind us that progress isn't always a straight line.

Congratulations to our newest P2 students, and thank you to everyone who continues to make Tip of Spear Krav Maga such a special community.

This is how we all get better. 👊

Congratulations to the 9 students who tested and passed their P1 level yesterday.

These beginners stepped up to their first test and earned their P1 patch through consistency, effort, and the willingness to push through when it mattered most.

Each of you met the standard and proved you belong at this level.

We’re proud of the work you’ve put in and the example you’re setting for those coming up behind you.

More from our P level testing on March 22.

Each of these moments reflects the work behind the scenes - now acknowledged alongside Leah and Paula, who continue to guide and uphold the standard of this program.

Not everyone is pictured (John, we missed you), but every one of you earned your place here.

Proud of this group.
