Our friends from Notre Dame came back to visit us today, and the daycare children were so excited! All morning they asked, “when will the big kids come!?”
The older students shared books they brought and read stories that some of our younger children picked out from home. It was such a special visit that helped foster a love of reading while supporting early literacy and creating meaningful connections between younger and older children.

We are so grateful for the opportunity to have these special days!
What a great group of such kind and caring role models for our younger group! We always look forward to their visits! ❤️

Summer Adventures have been in Full Swing!
What an incredible summer we have been having at the Morinville Community Daycare! Every day has been filled with laughter, curiosity, creativity, and new adventures.
Our little explorers have been busy discovering the world around them, searching for bugs, observing nature, and asking so many wonderful questions. They have let their imaginations shine through countless art projects.
We have also enjoyed many exciting field trips, including a visit to the zoo, where the children loved seeing all the amazing animals. A special trip to Sobeys gave everyone the chance to choose some new snacks to try while learning about different foods and making choices together.
The children have also been getting their hands dirty by planting flowers and other plants, learning how to care for them and watching them grow. 🌱
These moments are about so much more than keeping busy. Every activity helps build confidence, independence, friendships, creativity, and a love of learning through play and exploration.
A huge thank you to our amazing educators for creating such meaningful experiences and to our wonderful families for sharing your incredible children with us each day. We can't wait to see what the rest of the summer has in store! 💛☀️

Happy Friday! Our Let's Get Messy Art Party Palooza Week was such a success :)
It was an amazing week of creativity, colour, and messy fun! Our little artists explored so many exciting ways to create masterpieces, including colour mixing, paint spraying with water bottles, splat art, slinky painting, layered collages, finger painting, mud painting, and so much more!
There were lots of giggles, curious minds, and proud smiles as the children experimented, created, and let their imaginations run wild. We love providing opportunities for hands-on, process-focused art where the fun is just as important as the finished masterpiece!

What an amazing day! 🎉
Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming the older children from our other location, who came to our daycare to host a fun-filled Carnival Games Day! They did such a fantastic job planning and running the games, showing kindness, patience, and enthusiasm throughout the morning.
Our daycare children were absolutely thrilled! There were so many smiles, laughs, and excited faces as everyone joined in the fun.
A huge thank you to our amazing older children for all of your hard work and for making today so special. You created wonderful memories for our little ones, and we can't wait to plan a fun filled water day for you next! ❤️🎪 🌊
