Victoria School of the Arts

We had a great time meeting new families at the open house at St. Kateri Tekakwitha this evening. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to check us out, and to all of our very important families who also stopped in to say "Hi!"

All aboard the reading train!

The other week the children began collecting the chairs from around our room. We took a step back to give them space and observe!

So much powerful learning was happening here!
- Imagination & Creativity: with such inventive thinking
- Social skills: Child lead teamwork, cooperation and problem solving and lots of discussions
- Early Literacy: combining play with books and reading
- Motor and spatial skills: Lining up so many big chairs takes a lot of hard work, planning and coordination!

We love seeing the magic that happens when children are given the space to explore and create!!
