God Cares for Me

David looked at his school calendar and felt worried.

His class would have a test the next day. He had studied, but he still feared that he might fail.

That evening, he asked his mother, “What if I forget everything?”
His mother smiled and said, “Do your best, pray, and leave tomorrow with God.”

David remembered Jesus’ words in Matthew 6:25-34. Jesus taught His followers not to worry about tomorrow because God knows what they need.

David prayed, “God, please help me stay calm and do my best.”

The next morning, he took his test.
Some questions were easy. Others were hard. He answered each one carefully.

David learned that caring for tomorrow does not mean worrying about it all night.

God Is My Safe Place

Maya was a little girl who loved school. One morning, she opened her school bag and discovered that her favorite notebook was missing.

She searched everywhere. She checked under her bed, inside her drawer, and even behind the sofa.

She could not find it.
Maya began to cry. She worried that her teacher would be angry because she needed the notebook for her homework.
Her mother hugged her and said, “You can tell God how you feel.”

Maya closed her eyes and prayed, “God, I am scared. Please help me.”

Then she remembered Psalm 91:1-2:
“He is my refuge and my fortress.”

Maya felt calmer. She knew that God was with her, even when she felt afraid.
A few minutes later, her little brother walked in holding the notebook.

“I found this under the couch!” he said.
Maya smiled and hugged him.

She learned something important that day:
When you feel afraid, worried, or alone, you can always run to God. He is your safe place.
