Another busy day for our Eagles Nest Crew!

Our schoolagers + 4 year olds spent the day in Wainwright learning about community helpers. 🚑 🚒

Starting with a tour of the ambulance bay, and then a tour of Wainwright Fire & Rescue, where they generously let us use their space to also eat our lunch.

We were then supposed to tour the Fire Hall on the base, but they got called out to a grass fire just as we were arriving, so we changed our plans and enjoyed a cool down at the splash park! A few ladies from Vision Credit Union Ltd. were there for a wonderful treat of freezies to end our day.

Even though the day didn’t go exactly as planned, everybody still enjoyed it! A big thanks to those who toured us, we appreciate everything you shared with our kids today!! Thanks to the staff for going with the flow and helping a busy field trip day run smoothly.

We’re trying to soak in as much fun and sun as we can for these last few days before school starts! ☀️

Today some of our 4 year old and school aged group headed to wainwright to join Jayme's Fitness and Dance for some hip hop dance lessons. 🎶 📻 🪩 and they had so much fun! Thank you Miss Jayme for hosting our group!

The rest of the group stayed back at the school for some water fights & an ice cream treat. 🍦💦

Huge shout out to the Provost Swimming Pool ladies for be so helpful on Tuesday when we brought our school kids to swim. They were patient and so helpful getting everyone into life jackets. The kids had so much fun and so did the staff. Definitely one of the kids favorite summer fieldtrips we do.
