A huge thank you to Eaton School Community Council - SCC for sponsoring an incredible presentation with FlowWarrior! 🔥

Our students were inspired to forge their own destinies by focusing on Intuition, Inspiration, Exploration, Knowledge, Practice, and Creativity.
As Spartan’s, we believe true strength comes from mastering these internal Superpowers.

Today, we learned that the greatest battles are won through focus, growth, and the courage to try new things. At Eaton School this is where we level up together! 🛡️⚔️

We are terribly saddened to hear of the passing of Glenda Watson. Glenda is the mother of our chair and longtime SCC member, Kim Becker.

Glenda’s family has made arrangements for donations in their mom’s memory to go to the Eaton School SCC. We have earmarked donations in Glenda’s memory to go to playground upgrades and improvements, one which would include a memorial display for Glenda. Kim, Kristy and BJ all played on this equipment as kids and now Glenda’s grandkids play on it too. We hope to create a space for everyone to enjoy and a special space for Glenda’s loved ones to honour the wonderful person she was.

🎶 A Huge Mic Drop for DJ Dusty! 🎙️
For the past 3 years, the incredible Dustin Becker has brought the energy, the beats, and the school spirit to our Spartan Football Games! Today, he played his final tune on our sidelines, marking the end of an era. 🏈🎸
While we’ll miss hearing him pump up the crowd under the Thursday night lights, this is just the beginning for Dustin. Playing at our games has been fantastic practice as he continues to take his talents on the road to rodeos all across Saskatchewan! 🤠🐎
Next up? Dustin is heading to the Recording Arts Institute of Saskatoon (RAIS) to take his passion for audio and music to the next level! 🎧🎛️
Thank you, Dustin, for everything you’ve poured into our Spartan community. We appreciate your donated time and talent. We are so proud of you and can't wait to see where your incredible talent takes you next!

🏈 Another busy week of high school football is underway across West Central Saskatchewan!

Eatonia hosts undefeated Maple Creek today at 4:00 p.m., while Friday features LCBI taking on Plenty, the KCS Kobras travelling to Humboldt with first place on the line, and Unity welcoming Biggar under the lights.

Honouring Truth and Reconciliation 🧡
Our school community came together to reflect, learn, and honour National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Education and shared experiences are vital steps on our journey toward understanding.

Here is a glimpse of how our students are learning and connecting:

Bannock Making: Our students rolled up their sleeves to make bannock for the whole school! Sharing food is a powerful way to come together, spark meaningful conversations, and appreciating Indigenous history and culture. We appreciate our land and the bounty of raspberries we got this year for jam. 🧡

Ms. May’s Tipi Teachings: Our Grade k/1/2 students explored the deep cultural and historical significance of the tipi. They learned how every pole represents important values like respect, kinship, and community, and why the tipi remains a powerful symbol. 🧡

Reading and Story Telling: Mrs. Hayes and Mrs. Jefferies shared stories and the significance of truth and Reconcilliation with books. 🧡

Learning about Indigenous histories, resilience, and ways of life helps us build a more inclusive, compassionate future together. Every Child Matters. 🪶

The junior girls volleyball team is off to a great start. Although we are a young team this year, we have had some fantastic games. The team did very well at the tournament in Plenty and so far have faced Eston and KCS in league and had excellent games against both teams.🖤🏐❤️
