This month’s wellness experience looked a little different… and a lot more playful 🐶✨

After exploring somatic healing in January and float therapy in February, March brought something unexpected:

Puppy Yoga in Halifax.

And honestly?

It reminded me that wellness doesn’t always need to be quiet, serious, or perfectly curated.

Sometimes healing looks like:
✨ laughter
✨ movement
✨ connection
✨ letting yourself be fully present

And sometimes a tiny puppy climbing onto your yoga mat is exactly the nervous system reset you didn’t know you needed.

This experience reminded me that joy matters too.

I also created a free reflection journal page inspired by this month’s experience:
“What made me feel most like myself this month?”
“When did I feel joy in my body?”
“Where can I bring more lightness into my days?”

This year, I’m doing something different.

Instead of trying to do everything…
I’m choosing one meaningful experience each month.

✨ January — Somatic Healing
✨ February — Float Therapy
✨ March — Puppy Yoga

Not perfect wellness.
Not complicated routines.

Just real moments that help me come back to myself.

Spring is here… and summer is closer than you think ☀️

What do you want your child to gain from this summer?

In a calm, connected environment, something shifts.

Children begin to:
💛 Build confidence
🌿 Feel safe being themselves
🌊 Form real friendships

They’re not rushed from activity to activity.

They’re given time to:
Explore. Create. Reflect. Connect.

And that’s where real growth begins.

✨ Small groups
✨ Meaningful connection
✨ Lasting emotional skills

Children don’t learn to care about the earth through facts alone…
they learn through connection 🌿

When we slow down, breathe, and notice the world around us, something shifts.
Children begin to feel part of it — not separate from it.

And when they feel connected…
they naturally want to protect it.

This Earth Day, keep it simple:
🌊 Slow down
🌿 Notice deeply
💛 Connect first

That’s where real care begins.

I had one of those full circle moments today 💙

I went into Indigo to see if my books were on the shelves…
and at first — I couldn’t find them.

So I checked the computer… and there they all were. Every single one 🥹

Then I went searching again… and found them tucked into the Health & Wellness section in the children’s area.

Not front tables. Not face-out.
But there they were.

And honestly? It felt kind of perfect.

Because these books were never meant to just be “seen”…
they’re meant to be felt.

They’re for the children who need a little calm.
A little confidence.
A little help understanding their feelings 💛

So if you’re in Indigo, take a wander over to
👉 the children’s Health & Wellness section

You’ll find Mindful Mini Minds waiting there.

And if you do… it would mean the world to me if you
✨ snapped a photo
✨ shared it
✨ or even turned one cover forward

Little ripples create big waves 🌊

– Perri 💙
