Looking for a fun way to connect with your little one while exploring the outdoors?

Nature Connections is a year-round program for children ages 1–5 and their parent/caregiver. Join us each week for outdoor adventures filled with nature exploration, hikes, hands-on play, mud kitchen fun, stories, and so much more!

Led by YPCE Certified Forest & Nature School Practitioners, this program helps families build confidence outdoors, connect with nature, make new friends, and create lasting memories together.

Children tapped the trees, gathered the sap, and watched it transform drop by drop.

They enjoyed pancakes topped with the maple syrup they made themselves! From caring for our forest to tasting its gifts, our forest school group is learning just how sweet a connection with nature can be. 🍁🥞🌲

Starting May 1, we’re expanding to offer full-day options alongside our half-day program!

Designed for children ages 4–7, Forest School Fridays offer an immersive, nature-based learning experience that complements traditional school in the most meaningful way.

Each week, children spend the day outdoors exploring, creating, problem-solving, and connecting—with nature, with peers, and with themselves. Rooted in forest school philosophy, the program nurtures curiosity, independence, resilience, and belonging.

On December 18, families gathered at our Adventure Camp to celebrate Winter Solstice—the longest, darkest night of the year—under twinkling lights, while honoring and acknowledging the land that holds us.

The evening included salt dough creations, cozy stories in the yurt, lantern hikes through the forest, and wassail and songs shared around the fire.

It was a wonderful evening of connection, gratitude, and tradition, and we’re already looking forward to celebrating again next year. ✨🔥
